David’s images on display today include:

Cave Dweller:

This simple image shows a small forest-like fern captured in a cave. It highlights the diversity of plant life in forests and how life can thrive wherever opportunities arise. In this damp underground environment, a small patch of natural light provides the conditions needed for plant life to take hold.

Forest Light:

In the Redwood Forest near Warburton in the Yarra Valley, the morning light glances off the towering Redwoods, creating a stunning composition. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the forest’s serene beauty, highlighting the rich textures of the trees and the soft, earthy tones of the forest floor.

Dog Rocks

A well-known and frequently photographed landmark in the Geelong area, Dog Rocks features a solitary tree standing resiliently amidst a paddock scattered with large granite boulders. Overlooking an expansive landscape, the scene captures a striking contrast between the encroaching housing developments and the enduring farmlands beyond. The tree’s bare branches, stripped by the passing seasons, stand in quiet anticipation of spring’s renewal.
