I have been a member of Berwick Viewfinders Camera Club for just over 12 months. Probably identified as a late bloomer when it comes to taking photography seriously rather than a “point and shoot” nice photo type of person. I completed an online course during the COVID era that has helped me move comfortably to DSLR.

I enjoy doing sunsets, landscapes and birds; however, I am not restricted to these genres.
I am always looking to improve my techniques and join in many workshops, especially my new love, astrophotography and whales.

WHITE ROSE:

We have an array of different roses in our garden, and looking at the clear waterdrops on the spotless white rose certainly grabbed my attention. Then, looking at the spread of the green at the back of the pre flowering rose bud reminded me of the growth of the whole plant and it spreading out with an abundance of buds over the entirety of the plant

RAINDROPS ON ROSES:

The waves of petals with the combination of the white dominance and pink tinge of the edges appealed to me. Adding to the raindrops over the entire rose was the fun of drops along the edges of the leaves. It certainly also gives a tinge of cleanliness to the flower itself.
