Monday 25      Guest speaker – CCD Camera Service. Technician speaking on visual light basics, and will take you inside a modern camera, look at lens fundamentals and zooms, how to care for  your camera,
and a Q&A session.

March

Sunday 3         Alison Pouliot Tree workshop – fees apply. All day workshop starting in club rooms, then transferring to field site. Workshop is fully booked.

We will be conducting an internal judging to find the image that will be used by Framing to A T to demonstrate matting and framing of the image. Your image can be uploaded to the competition section in the website. It’s the ’Special’ comp with a theme of ‘Framing to a T’ prize (3rd from the bottom).

Monday 29        JUDGING AGG 3/COLLECT FOR PAKWICK

May

Monday 6        Mark Rayner will do a Bird and Wildlife Presentation for us on the night of the 6th.

He’ll talk about the techniques that he used to capture certain images as well as settings, aperture, focus methods etc.

He will also do a hands on ‘Back Button Focus” setup session. He usually do this after everything else including all normal club business as it is time consuming and can go on for quite a while depending on how many people want to set up their cameras. Those that are keen will hang around.

He’ll also squeeze in a couple of slide shows on the Kimberly Photo Tour 2020.

Mark will also be running a two day workshop in Cranbourne on the 5th and 6th May . Link is here.

Monday 24      COLLECT FOR TRI CLUB and GUEST SPEAKER. The guest speaker will be Barry Povey. Barry will demostrate, on the big screen, CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH THE IPHONE. It will cover the new technologies, applications and processing ability of mobile devices such as the iPhone. Eg 360º creativity, panorama creativity, artistic creativity and novelty creativity. The objective is to bring members up to date on their awarness, appreciation and understanding of recent developments. You may even be inspired to explore this area of photography as well.

Calendar selection night, members slideshow. We produce a calendar each year showcasing some of our members’ works. Please, if you wish to submit an image for this completion it must be printed and mounted and brought to Club on this night for judging by your fellow members. Images must be landscape orientated as the fit better on the pages, thanks.

We will have time for members slideshows so if you’ve been on a trip or just have a selection of images you’d like to show, make up a little slideshow, put it on a USB to share with us all.

PLEASE NOTE: Collection for AGG6 “Negative space” will also be on this night.

Berwick Senior Citizens ClubMelbourne. Excited to have Nella Pixels (P1xels) coming to talk to us about her experience shooting in and around the Chernobyl exclusion zone in Russia as well as her street photography. Collection night for the Hills & Vines inter-club competition too.
